The magician displays a length of rope.  He runs his scissors along the rope to |
| about the center. Using the scissors, the center of rope is brought to the left hand |
| where it is cut. The ends are tied together The rope with knot is |
| displayed. The rope is gathered into a clump. One end is grasped. |
| The rope is stretched out to show a bump in the middle. With a tug, the bump |
| disappears. The performer offers to do it again and finds the center of the rope. |
| The center is placed into the hand and again cut. The four ends |
| are brought into the hand. The performer waves the scissors over the rope and |
| the rope cascades from the hand revealing that it is back together. |
